Projects that provide technical and architectural information about the plans, sections, material and connection details of an architectural structure, facade and exterior views, layout plans, the ratio of the structures with each other, their interior layouts and details are called Architectural Projects. The stage in which the details considered before starting the architectural projects are examined is called the initial examination.

WHAT ARE THE STAGES OF THE ARCHITECTURAL PROJECT?
In an architectural project, after the employer's needs are determined; exploration, measuring and scaling the land where the project will be built, making the layout plan, determining the transportation, road, electricity, water and sewerage connections of the land, again the directions of the land; in other words, determining the north-south axes for wind, east-west axes for light, determining the location of topography, vegetation and trees, extracting landscape features and determining the zoning status can be listed.

After mastering all the features of the land, the design stage is started, first the design concept is created and the first diagrams and measured sketches that can be exemplified as 1/20, 1/50 or 1/100 according to the size of the plot are drawn. A preliminary project is a project that is prepared and presented to the employer by putting the design idea on paper together with the studies listed above at an appropriate scale. At this stage, in the preliminary project; Situation plans, sections, floor plans, views and roof plans are drawn.

If the preliminary project is approved, the stage called "final project" is passed. In the final project phase, the revisions given by the employer are applied to the preliminary project, and necessary changes are made considering the needs and demands.

While the project management process progresses, static and mechanical / installation projects are also prepared in parallel with the architectural project. The "final project" drawn afterward is usually drawn at a scale of 1/50 or 1/100, depending on the dimensions of the building.

Finally, the details of the connection points of the materials to be used in the construction, etc. After the work is done, the application project and finally the construction site phase comes.
